Introducing the AERO Specialties dual 12 & 25-ton axle jack. This jack can be used to lift aircraft for maintenance purposes. Our dedicated OEM manufacturing team of engineers, machinists, mechanics, welders and painters take great pride and work hard to produce precision aircraft servicing equipment of exacting standards. These rugged jacks are built to withstand harsh conditions and provide years of service.

The model 2012186 axle jack has two sides:

  • 12-ton side:
    • Weight capacity: 12 tons (10.8 metric tons)
    • Closed height: 4″ (10 cm)
    • Hydraulic extension: 5.5″ (14 cm)
    • Mechanical extension: 1.5″ (3.5 cm)
    • Fully extended: 11″ (28 cm)
  • 25-ton side:
    • Weight capacity: 25 tons (22.68 metric tons)
    • Closed height: 7″ (18 cm)
    • Hydraulic extension: 9″ (23 cm)
    • Mechanical extension: 3″ (8 cm)
    • Fully extended: 19″ (48 cm)

The 12-ton side features lower clearance, while the 25-ton side features longer hydraulic and mechanical extension. The external pump connects to either side of the jack and allows the user to pump further away from the aircraft, all while being much easier to pump than our other axle jacks. The dual 12 & 25-ton axle jack truly is the “premier” member of our axle jack family.

Our series of axle jacks is available in various configurations, with individual 12 and 25-ton capacity units also available. These hydraulic lifting jacks feature steel construction, manual hand pump, safety relief valve, and use 5606 hydraulic fluid for operation. The filler/breather cap is easily accessible to avoid damage caused by spills.

Aircraft axle jacks are used in aircraft maintenance to assist in changing tires, performing brake service, servicing wheels, and other procedures in which lifting the main or nose landing gear is necessary.
