Our 12″ (30.48cm) diameter Heavy-Duty LayFlat Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) Duct/Hose comes in 4 lengths and is designed for use with aircraft air conditioning and heating units.
The Heavy-Duty LayFlat PCA Hose is a molecularly bonded heat-sealed collapsible blower tubing designed for demanding applications. The Heavy-Duty PCA Duct is collapsible, flexible and extremely resistant to external abrasion, deterioration and fatigue. It has excellent UV Stabilization for outdoor use, mold and mildew inhibitors and the fabric meets California Fire Marshall Code Approvals and UL94VTM-O Standards. This design utilizes a heat-sealed construction with a one piece welded-seam extended inner liner and elastic seals at connection joints to minimize air loss. The middle insulation layer is a patented polypropylene fabric that is designed to inhibit growth of fungi & bacteria, and is metalized on one side for superb radiant heat insulation without cracking or flaking. The outer shell is comprised of high-strength 18 oz. polyester fabric with with rubber wearstrips that withstand high amounts of abrasion.
