Our LayFlat PCA sewn construction collapsible ducting is comprised of a flexible ducting that is resistant to external abrasion. This results in a hose that suffers from reduced deterioration & fatigue. This LayFlat hose has excellent UV stabilization, as well as mold & mildew inhibitors for prolonged outdoor use. The outer shell is comprised of high-strength 18 oz. polyester fabric, and is able to withstand high amounts of abrasion. The middle insulation layer is a patented polypropylene fabric that is designed to inhibit growth of fungi & bacteria, and is metalized on one side for superb radiant heat insulation. This layer is designed to flex without cracking or flaking. The inner liner consists of a tightly woven, rip-resistant coated nylon material, designed to withstand the heavy wear of use in the aircraft industry.
