This check valve can be inserted between the O2 or N2 cylinder nipple and the hose to prevent backflow from lines into lower pressure cylinders. By preventing high-pressure cylinders from equalizing into lower-pressure cylinders, this check valve prevents the user from the costly and tedious task of changing out cylinders when they are accidentally equalized.
This valve is rated at 3,000 psi and is oxygen clean. It will also work on nitrogen systems at pressures of 3,000 psi and below.
