Helicopter ground handling wheels are used to lift a helicopter off the ground for easy movement in the hangar or on the ramp. They are attached to the skids, allowing for the user to easily balance the aircraft during maneuvering without the tail hitting the ground.
Our ground handling wheels provide a portable and dependable solution for the maneuvering of your helicopter. This model of mechanical ground handling wheels allows for movement of Bell 206L “Long Ranger” model helicopters by means of heavy-duty tires and an integrated locking system. By applying force to the included 50″ (127cm) handle bar (not shown), the helicopter may be lifted off the ground and the ground handling wheel automatically locked in place with the engagement pin when the proper height is reached.
This set is designed for the Long Ranger helicopter on pan floats.
Price is for both the left and right side assemblies as well as a handle bar.
