Our steel RX-D8-400 towbar (220,000 lbs. [99,790 kg.] capacity) is designed to perform push and pull operations on Bombardier (DeHavilland) Dash 8-400, Q400 regional airline aircraft.

Compares to Tronair multi-head towbar and DASH 8-400 towbar head, part numbers 01-1290-0100, 01-0400-0000 and 01-1201-0010.

PLEASE NOTE, customers with Q400 towbars (001689) and/or heads (001497): The SP2 Shear Pin (003229) has been replaced for use on Q400 heads with the SP3 Shear Pin (004669).  If you have an AERO Specialties Q400 (DHC-8-400 series) towbar or head and need a replacement shear pin, you require SP3 Shear Pin, Part Number 004669. Click here to see our service bulletin regarding this change.
