Ground Power Unit Cable Assembly (28v DC, 400 Hz AC)

Is it time to replace that worn aircraft GPU cable? This easy-to-install GPU cable connects to the GPU power supply to the aircraft. Our 1/0 AC GPU cable assembly has positive and negative battery terminals at the supply end of the cable with a molded 6-pole 400 Hz AC aircraft plug that attaches the GPU to the aircraft. The quality of our hard tip profile cable allows it to last 2 to 3 times longer than any regular GPU cable.

Constructed of a proprietary synthetic elastomer, the molded aircraft plug/head has excellent moisture, chemical and abrasion resistance qualities. Each connector has silver-plated tellurium copper contacts with quad beams and engineered steel springs that assure consistent contact for thousands of cycles. Silver-plated tellurium copper contacts reduce contact electric resistance.

400 Hz AC 1/0 GPU Output Cable Assembly

Our 1/0 400 Hz AC Aircraft GPU Cable Assembly consists of (4) insulated 1/0 or 2/0 copper wires with (1) 12/2 AWG control lead bound with non-metallic bands, and an attached 6-pole molded aircraft plug/head. The molded 6-pole AC plug features (4) 1/0 or 2/0 power contacts and (2) control contacts.

Meets MIL-C-7974D, MIL-C-5756, MIL-STD-810F, MIL-C-81790 standards.

28V DC Ground Power Unit Output Cable Assembly

Our 28.5V DC Aircraft GPU Cable Assembly consists of (2) insulated 4/0 copper wires bound with a non-metallic band and an attached 3-pole molded aircraft plug/head.

Meets MIL-C-7974D, MIL-C-5756, MIL-STD-810F, MIL-C-81790 standards.

Be aware that a longer replacement cable than what was initially designed for your GPU may degrade the performance or require an adjustment to the voltage compensation parameters if your GPU is equipped with this feature. This performance impact is due to voltage line drop, which varies with the length of the cable.
