This plug is designed to function as the male end of a 28V DC GPU extension or breakaway cable. Using a breakaway cable during aircraft GPU service allows for a decreased risk of aircraft damage when performing ground power servicing operations.
This plug can also be used to replace your worn connector plug on existing 28V DC extension or breakaway cables without buying an entire cable assembly.
